- There is not going to be a christmas special of the simpsons until2010.. seemed to me as they were explaining it that it is going to be adecent episode
- Bart is planned to finally get a girlfriend thathe is going to go through a lot of trouble of getting and they aregoing to hate eachother off and on for a while.
- the 20th anniversary episode is going to be January 2010
- The well known spider pig will be back! as well as a few episodes will feature ralph finally as he did not get much coverage in the last season
- There was a thread posted on the forums earlier last month saying that there was a simpsons movie sequel confirmed.. but as they said at the panel.. that was not the case but they do want to have another movie.

- Also.. interesting fact is that Matt Groening apparently his favorite part in the simpsons and all it's glory is that he likes on the movie where Bart skateboards naked

History of The Simpsons
The Simpsons creator, Matt Groening first conceived the idea of TheSimpsons while in a office lobby. The initial appearance of the Simpsonfamily were drawn poorly, Groening said this was due to the fact thathe couldn't draw well and the animators traced over his drawings.
TheSimpsons was truly an alternative animated television show to all ofthe other cartoons being put out at the time. The Simpsons features afamily living in a small town called Springfield, the U.S. state of thetown is unknown. The family is made up of Homer Simpson, who is the manof the house, he is an overweight safety inspector at the towns powerplant, he often gives bad advice.
Marge Simpson is Homer's wifeand the lady of the house, she is a stay at home mother and she is therational one who tries to keep peace in her crazy home. Bart Simpson isHomer and Marge's 10 year old son, he's always in trouble at school andat home. Lisa Simpson, is Bart's little sister, she's a philosophicalfree thinking 8 year old who loves to play the saxophone and solve theworlds problems. Maggie is the youngest daughter of Homer and Marge andnever speaks, she communicates by sucking her pacifier.

At The Simpsons panel at Comic Con 2010 in San Diego yesterday morning, the cast of the show revealed what we can expect to see in the upcoming 22nd season (premiering Sept 26, 2010) and more.

* A teaser from this year’s Christmas special showed The Simpsons in puppet form
* 2011′s Christmas special will see The Simpsons 30 years in the future in which Bart, Lisa and Maggie bring their own kids over to Homer and Marge’s for Christmas.
* Al Jean reiterated “There’s no end in sight” for the show
